Aoúd jewellery is our new religion

I have always had a respect for rosary beads. These sacred beads can be seen in many a religious persons hands, and there is something mesmerizing about watching someone roll the beads between their fingers.

Although I am not a religious person, I do like the thought of having my own beads (Note to my rude followers ‘no not those beads’). Today, I may have just found that in the form of  aoúd jewellery. The natural stones in Aoud Jewellery are joined together with silver and brass pendants, seeds and sometimes coloured tassels.

At the moment aoúd is sold in selected stores such as Excelsior in Milan, Penelope/PS5 in Brescia, Space in Milano Marittima and Cesena, Bottega Back-Door and La Ferramenta in Bologna, Autograph in Birmingham, Shop at S*uce in Dubai.  Whilst we await the new aoúd collection, which will be released

Welcome to Maketh The Man, a lifestyle and travel blog by Callum Watt and Anton Welcome.

Maketh The Man launched in 2010 as a home to showcase male jewellery. From the best chunky necklaces to our favourite signet rings. Whilst the Mark Twain quote does say "Clothes maketh the man", we actually think its the finer details that make an outfit really pop. Hence why we decided to focus our attention on how to accessorize your wardrobe.

We quickly expanded our coverage to include all accessories from the best footwear, to the most stylish bags and pocket squares.

Today Maketh The Man has grown to be one of the UKs top male lifestyle blogs covering a range of different categories. From the greatest holiday destinations to the tastiest cocktail or finest whisky recommendations, with a healthy dose of technology and grooming thrown in.
