#PinItForwardUK launches in the UK to drive country specific content

Pinterest held a launch event this month to generate excitement about its new UK campaign, #PinItForwardUK.  This was to kick off its new internationalisation of its content so country specific content can be seen by country specific users i.e. UK users will now see UK content.  The event was filled with lots of very colourful ‘stations’ for attendees to take pictures of, and pin.

One of Pinterest’s original owners was in attendance to tell us all about the back story of the brand and how much he has been surprise by the growth and love for the platform.

Of course there were lots of sweeties and drinks on offer, so with my sweet tooth I took advantage and had to try them all.  Which of course can be seen in the above pics.
