LCM Street Style with GQ and Men’s fashion post

I was fortunate enough to get snapped by GQ as we set out for Day 2 of LCM. Saturdays outfit was all about being cool and collective, with lighter shades for the optimistic moments of sunshine due this weekend.

The great magazine that is GQ caught me outside the BFC show space wearing my Topman 2 piece suit, accessorised with a pocket square from Austin Reed. GQ is the leading men’s magazine providing a definitive coverage of style, culture, politics and more cool things like LCM. In good tradition, GQ  continues to cover every part of a man’s life, from entertainment and sports to fashion and grooming advice.

As the second day of LCM continued, buzzing with the inspiration of all the designer shows/presentations, we set onward to the Turnball & Asser show, before the dreaded rain arrived.

With the aim of not wanting to be too formal for day 2, I went for a relaxed suiting look, mixing in my white Adidas Court sneakers from MR PORTER. A little advice for anyone walking around all day during LCM, which is to think of your feet and go for the sneaker approach. The right match will make your suited look remain strong, without taking away the dapper finish of your suit.

Day 3 for me is always Sartorial Sunday’s, inspired by the greater level of formal shows & presentations on the day.

On the way to the belstaff show we were caught by the gentlemen’s journal walking through the rain, whilst maintaining the sartorial style.
