River Island (Twitter – @river_island) launched their new Autumn / Winter collection to much fanfare last week. At their head offices, attendees were treated to the most incredible experimental cocktails including foaming festive tea pots super charged with Tanqueray Gin.
So what about the collection? Well there was a real focus on accessories this year, with the increasingly popular bow tie making a number of appearances. Often paired with a matching pocket square the tie collection was wide and wonderful. However, the detail on the rucksakes were the stand out item for us. Vintage prints, married with sturdy leather fasteners will be a great addition to any dandy this coming festive period.
