A new haircut with Michael Van Clarke

Michael Van Clarke haircut

Looking for that perfect hair cut?  Its a dilemma that most people are faced with each month, so when Michael Van Clarke got in touch I had to go and experience his new method of cutting hair.  The MVC principal of cutting hair is different from other methods.  It uses a new way of cutting called the ‘Diamond Dry Cut™’.

MVC Salon

Cutting the hair clean and dry allows Michael to work with the hair’s natural movement and texture, interpreted with face shapes and features, to create brilliant styles with a level of precision and balance. This personalised hair care creates looks that are totally unique to the client and easy to maintain.

His Marylebone salon is a lovely affair, with very friendly assistants and a great food and drinks menu.  I always feel a bit silly ordering drinks in a hair dresser, but the juices on offer sounded too good to be true so I treated myself to one whilst the stylist got to work.

With this new cutting technique taking three decades of refinement I have to say the experience was AMAZING.  The actual haircut experience whilst I was sat in the chair was no different than any other hair cut as the clever stuff is the technique used to cut your hair.  I came away with a great cut, that lasted for weeks and weeks afterwards.  The concept really does work and I would highly recommend it.

Today, Michael Van Clarke LLP is a multi-award winning organisation, holding titles including the coveted British Hairdressing Business Award 2011 for; Best Salon, Best Front of House Team, Best Marketing, and a personal achievement for Michael himself, Best UK Director.  So you should make that appointment now before his bookings are full for months.
