Jo Hayes Ward likes a cube or two

Born and breed in London, Jo Hayes Ward is inspired by thousands of tiny cubes and the stacking of these cubes into beautiful shapes.  Honing her skills with different London jewellers Jo then made the brave decision to go it alone.

Each of her rings are constructed of small polygon facets that shimmer in the light giving a tonal quality to the work. Beautiful as single bands or in pairs, the rings can also be stacked up in various combinations to create a personal set. Rings made of square units are set with white or brown princess cut diamonds and green sapphires while rings constructed of hexagons house Rose Cut, Old Cut and Grey round diamonds in a new take on the traditional solitaire.

Small brilliant cut diamonds are also set randomly in hexagonal units of thin single bands creating an unusual eternity ring.

I am in love with Jo’s pieces, they add an element of intrigue and brilliance to any finger, and the more you look the more complex and interesting the designs become.  A sign of a true designer.
