If rock stars were hairdressers, then Jamie Stevens would be playing Wembley to a sold out crowd. Voted Mens Hairdresser of the year a number of times, including this year, Jamie’s trophy cabinet is one that anyone would be proud of. In admiration of his achievements, I was lucky enough to be invited down to his flagship store near Shepherds Bush to meet Jamie and have one of his award winning haircuts.
To say I was impressed with the saloon and Jamie would be an understatement. The slick looking venue were he crafts his haircutting magic looks inviting and very cool. The staff welcome you with a beaming smile, and Jamie bounces onto the saloon floor with enthusiasm that is very engaging.
Before I sat down to have my hair washed in the luxurious massage chair (which was amazing!) Jamie and I discussed my options for my new haircut. I had previously decided I wanted to unleash my curly hair and try something different, so I was looking for some inspiration and recommendations from him. Thankfully, Jamie’s knowledge of men’s hair, trends, styles, what would and wouldn’t work shinned through, so I knew I was in very safe hands.
After the cut, I was delighted. The curls have been unleashed, and the feedback from everyone is that they love the new look. So A BIG THANKS to Jamie and his rock star hands!
