Guinness Sauce: The dark storm in a sauce

I’ve heard of red and brown sauce, but never black sauce. That was until recently, when I came across Guinness’s new invention. Deciding on what to throw in that bacon roll is probably the greatest morning debate, anyone in Britain has to face! And now the debate continues on.Guinness Sauce 1 – Maketh the man

I was a little uncertain about how this was going to be, seeing as my Guinness usually comes cold, in a pint glass and settling in my moustache for a few moments.Guinness Sauce 2 – Maketh the man

As any addition to meats goes, this sauce is now the new favourite. Maybe it is the rich flavour of it that I enjoy about it. Or maybe it it’s my sheer love for the taste of a Guinness that’s doing it. Well with 7% of actual Guinness in every bottle, it’s no surprise that it has won me over.

Among the meats I have tried, I can confirm Guinness sauce tastes awesome with:

– Beef Steak (naturally)

– Lamb Kebabs

– Pork steaks

– Bacon

– Ribs

I would definitely recommend giving this a go and seeing if it doesn’t change the way you plan on saucing up your meat in future!
