New York 9/11 Memorial Visit

I recently visited the New York 9/11 memorial at the base of where the Twin Towers used to stand.  It was something I was wary of, as I still have a clear memory of my last visit to New York and standing on the top of one of the towers and looking down to the streets below.  Knowing that these buildings don’t stand anymore is something that is hard to imagine, being there even more difficult.  However, the respect shown with the memorial and the story it tells is one that the memorial curators and the state of New York should be proud of.  Thats all I am going to say about the matter, as the visit to the memorial one is something that should be done. Yes its very emotional, yes I actually cried walking around it (and I didn’t know anyone effected by the tragedy) and yes you should visit it. Ill let the pictures do the talking now.

Welcome to Maketh The Man, a lifestyle and travel blog by Callum Watt and Anton Welcome.

Maketh The Man launched in 2010 as a home to showcase male jewellery. From the best chunky necklaces to our favourite signet rings. Whilst the Mark Twain quote does say "Clothes maketh the man", we actually think its the finer details that make an outfit really pop. Hence why we decided to focus our attention on how to accessorize your wardrobe.

We quickly expanded our coverage to include all accessories from the best footwear, to the most stylish bags and pocket squares.

Today Maketh The Man has grown to be one of the UKs top male lifestyle blogs covering a range of different categories. From the greatest holiday destinations to the tastiest cocktail or finest whisky recommendations, with a healthy dose of technology and grooming thrown in.
