Driving up to Anfield for the first time is pretty special. Nivea Men took us there to watch a rather special game of Liverpool FC vs Real Madrid.

Getting to watch most of your favourite ever Liverpool players play together, against some of the best players to ever play the game, in the comfort of an executive box, with full hospitality and the company of the most decorated player in the club’s history, Phil Neal, is amazing.
However, being a Liverpool fan for 28 years, to walk out onto the pitch via the players tunnel, under the iconic “THIS IS ANFIELD” sign, past the fans draped over the sides hoping for an autograph or photo with one of the players and then standing pitch side as your favourite ever Liverpool player, Steven Gerrard, warms up with the rest of the squad, within touching distance, is simply unbelievable!
Nivea Men made this happen and gave me a day I couldn’t have imagined in my wildest dreams. I’m convinced they even made the sun shine! The only problem is, how am I ever going to top that…..
